About the Business:

Where Mayan mysticism meets bohemian chic, this beachfront sanctuary blends jungle wildness with artisan luxury. Palapa-roofed villas stand on stilts above powder-white sand, each with hand-carved four-poster beds, outdoor rainfall showers, and private cenote-inspired plunge pools. By day, explore hidden sea caves via your villa’s complimentary kayaks; by night, dine on Yucatán truffles under a canopy of bioluminescent stars. The spa’s ancient cacao rituals and temazcal ceremonies remind: luxury here is measured in connection, not thread count

Challenge

Despite its prime beachfront location in Tulum, the boutique hotel’s website underperformed—with a 50% bounce rate and only 15% of visitors exploring booking options. The design failed to reflect its bohemian-luxury ethos, using generic stock images instead of showcasing its handcrafted palapa villas and private cenote spa. Most critically, the 6-step booking process caused 70% of users to abandon before completing reservations.

Goal

Our mission was to redesign a website that would visually immerse visitors in the hotel’s “barefoot luxury” experience through custom content, while radically simplifying the path to purchase. Key objectives included: cutting booking steps from six to three, increasing direct bookings by 35%, and highlighting unique offerings like jungle-to-table dining through interactive storytelling tailored to adventure-seeking demographics.

Result

We delivered a mood-driven digital experience featuring bespoke 360° villa tours, Mayan-inspired design elements, and a streamlined booking flow with one-click experience add-ons. Geo-targeted CTAs addressed specific traveler motivations, while integrated spa and excursion upsells created seamless cross-sell opportunities. The result was a website that felt as authentic as the property itself—and performed like a precision engine.
